Next Generation EU

We are partners at two projects as part of the Next Generation EU recovery plan

Print2Digital - comprehensive digital transformation of the media house DELO

Pareto d.o.o., as a consortium partner, has received co-financing from the European Union under the Recovery and Resilience Fund to implement the activities of the Print2Digital project. The project provides a comprehensive digital transformation of companies and their individual business functions. The company has joined a development-oriented consortium with DELO d.o.o. as the lead consortium partner and BI-CALCULUS d.o.o. as the third partner.

As a participating partner in the consortium, we will work with the lead partner to create an open innovation environment in order to develop new solutions. The project will contribute to technological empowerment through the use of five advanced technologies – robotics/process automation, artificial intelligence, blockchain technology, big data, virtual reality. The technologies will contribute to reducing greenhouse gas emissions and address climate change. Through the project, we will promote open innovation and strengthen the digital competences of our employees. The project aims to reduce COVID effects, increase economic efficiency, reduce costs due to optimisation of loads, increase efficiency due to digitalisation and automation of processes.

The project aims to influence the increase and growth of productivity, the optimisation and reduction of costs of service delivery and operations, and to increase competitiveness and open market and commercialisation opportunities for innovative solutions.

Total financial value of the project: 3,853,759.25 EUR
Co-financing share: 529,773.50 EUR

SmartIM - the Iskra Mehanizmi smart factory

Pareto d.o.o., as a consortium partner, has received co-funding from the European Union under the Recovery and Resilience Fund to implement the activities of the SmartIM project. The project ensures the development and implementation of the Iskra Mehanizmi smart factory concept. The company has joined a development-oriented consortium with Iskra Mehanizmi d.o.o. as the lead consortium partner and Genis d.o.o., Comcom d.o.o. and Flexido d.o.o. as other partners.

As a participating partner in the consortium, we will develop and implement the Iskra Mehanizmi Smart Factory concept with the lead partner. To create a smart factory, we will digitally transform processes from procurement to production and logistics and introduce some advanced methods and technologies of robotics, artificial intelligence, machine-to-machine communication and train staff to handle the software. Our ultimate goal is to develop smart products with smart equipment and smart management. The project will result in a SmartIM smart factory with digital management processes, production and logistics management and new sales methods. The project activities include the development of a digital strategy that will address the entire value chain and processes of the smart factory, technology enhancement to develop solutions beyond the state of the art and the implementation of solutions in a real environment. As part of the latter, training will be provided for employees to acquire the relevant digital competences and act as a central link of the smart factory.
